At first glance, this looked like a bad hit & run…
The damage on this Audi SQ7 seemed severe — something that would normally mean a trip to the body shop and a full repaint.
But there was one key difference.
This vehicle was protected with Paint Protection Film (PPF).
After removing the damaged film, we found that the paint underneath was still in excellent condition.
✅ No repaint.
✅ No color mismatch.
✅ No downtime at a body shop.
Just a clean removal and replacement of the affected PPF.
This is a real-world example of what PPF is designed to do — act as a sacrificial layer to protect your factory paint when it matters most.
